From the Kitchens of Mana: Kesari Murg (Saffron Chicken)


Kesari Murg (Saffron Chicken Recipe) :-

1 Chicken With Bone 200 G
2 Onion 80 G
3 Ginger 5 G
4 Garlic 5 G
5 Saffron (Kesar) 1 G
6 Corinder Powder 3 G
7 Cashewnut Paste 50 G
8 Clove 1 G
9 Bay Leaves 1 G
10 Curd 100 G
11 Green Cardamom 5 G
12 Oil 70 ML
13 White Pepper 5 G
14 Cream 60 G
15 Red Chilli Powder 3 G
16 Salt 3 G



Step 1
Heat olive oil in a deep non stick pan. Add bay leaves, green cardamom, cloves, ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute. Add onion and sauté for 1 minute.

Step 2
Add coriander powder, white pepper powder, red chili powder, mix well and sauté for 1 minute. Add cashewnuts paste and yogurt and mix well.

Step 3
Add chicken and salt mix well. Cover and cook on low heat till the chicken is almost done.

Step 4
Add saffron milk and mix. Cover and cook till chicken is completely cooked. Transfer into a serving bowl.

Step 5
Garnish with fresh cream, halved cashewnuts and serve hot.
