Culinary Tour - Cooking Classes Mana HotelThe cuisine of Rajasthan has always held the fancy of locals and visitors alike. Spicy and innovative, the food of Rajasthan reflects its harsh climate which often results into a lack of fresh produce, the often nomadic lifestyles its people as well as their inspiriting love for colour and vibrancy.

Mana Hotels always goes the extra mile to make all the wishes of their guests come true. Not only have they been serving their guests authentic Marwari and Mewari food at the hotel, they have also been sharing their scrumptious kitchen secrets through Traveller, their online travel magazine. Now they are going another step further and organizing exciting cooking classes at the Barh Court, the gorgeous courtyard at their Ranakpur property.

The Barh Court at Mana Hotels will now be the choicest venue for a unique cooking experience. The classes will be conducted by experienced chefs from the kitchens of Mana in tandem with locals from the vicinity. The result will be authentic and true local flavours taught with a bit of 5 star finesse.  To ensure the best results, each member of the class will be cooking themselves rather than merely observing!

The guests can also opt for a Vegetable Market visit to get more familiar with local produce and truly understand the beauty of the vibrant food from Rajasthan. The class begins at the Barh Court at 11.00 am. Recipe books are also distributed at the end of each class!

Mana Ranakpur in Rajasthan opened in November 2011. This resort spreads over 3.5 acres and features cottages, rooms, a luxurious spa, a swimming pool and both outdoor and indoor sports facilities. Ranakpur is located midway between Udaipur and Jodhpur and has many natural, historical and cultural treats for tourists. We are currently in the process of exploring locations for our next venture.

As a part of our effort to create a more informed traveller to India, we launch our latest venture – Traveller by Mana Hotels. This online magazine will provide you with keen insight into tourist destinations in India, hotel and restaurant reviews, factual and whimsical photographic essays, travel tips and what not..
