Diu: Daman & Diu

Diu combines the colonial Portuguese influence you’ll see in Goa, with Pondicherry’s appeal of a small town. There are sparkling beaches where you won’t find as many people as you would in Goa. This gives you utmost privacy to watch the sunset with your beloved, or take a swim in the Arabian Sea. And, it is incredibly affordable! All you need to do is to fly to Ahmedabad and take an overnight bus to Diu.
Shoghi, Himachal Pradesh
Travel 12km ahead of Shimla to Shogi, a little known valley in Himachal Pradesh! This area is home to beautiful villages and green stepped slopes. It is incredibly close to the Sutlej river waters. Lesser known than it’s famous neighbor, Shogi is serene and less commercialized. Soak in the nature at it’s best and the company of your beloved while take strolls in the Himalayas. The picturesque village cluster of Raison can be seen from afar as you approach it, and it has retained its colonial charm to this day.
